3 Easy Ways to Make Delicious Magic Mushroom Chocolate
Psilocybin magic mushrooms may be the start of a whole new, fresh era for many people. Hallucinogenic mushooms, or more commonly known as magic mushooms have mainly been illegal in most nations around the world. However, with many US states decriminalizing or legalizing psilocybin and magic mushrooms, times are rapidly changing. Psychoactive shrooms have largely been outlawed around most part of the world since 1971, when the United Nations (UN) voted to change their designation.
Rather than placing mushrooms among the list of banned substances, the committee instead wound up placing the psychoactive component of shrooms on the list – psilocybin. Psilocybin then becomes psilocin when consumed and absorbed by the body. As a result of this oversight, many nations around the world have now finally discovered approaches to loosen up on the psilocybin restrictions, making it the next medicinal wave. Despite psilocybin being illegal in many countries still, there has been a trend world wide to loosen up restrictions, making it even a low or no priority to police.
As magic mushrooms in Canada become more prominent and main stream, demand for newer and better products increase. This is following a similar path to cannabis from 10 years ago. As with cannabis, we saw and explosion with vapes, extracts, and marijuana edibles. Magic mushrooms and psilocybin are following much of the same demand curve. Some dispensaries, and mail order marijuana sites are starting to supply customers with orders across the country.
The amazing thing about shrooms is their incredible versatility. It is becoming common place to see this magical psilocybin funghi infused in a variety of foods – most commonly chocolate. Dispensaries are offering an increased, and diverse menu of psilocybin chocolates to medicate and consume. While some of these dispensaries have amazing psilocybin chocolate products ready to buy now, we can see the want to make yours at home! Besides, it is not as hard as some would think, and definitely a fun way to do it yourself. Your can use many types of mushrooms.
If this is your first time cooking or baking with magic mushrooms, you should know that dosing is pretty easy and straight forward. A standard dose of shrooms is anywhere from 0.5 grams (microdose) to 3 grams. However, experience psychonauts looking for a a “hero dose” and perhaps “ego-death” sometimes want to be aiming at the 5 gram + range.
Quick and Simple Magic Mushroom Chocolate
If you’re looking for a simple and quick magic mushroom delicious chocolate recipe, really look no further. This recipe only requires a couple ingredients that are easily obtainable. Most likely, you already have a few of them kicking around.
- Dried magic mushrooms (easily obtainable online) – type of mushrooms is your choice
- One chocolate bar or chips (half bag) of your choice
- Glass mixing bowl
- Chocolate or candy mould
Begin with your desired amount of dried magic mushrooms. Again, the dosage you select would be dependent on your tolerance and goals as mentioned earlier. Most people would be anywhere from 0.5 g (microdose) to 3 g, starting to hit the “spiritual” and recreational side of dosing. You can grind the psilocybin shrooms using a variety of methods. We opted for using a blender, and just tapping the pulse button a couple of times. Most types of mushrooms blend this way, and at the same pulse rate.
If you selected a chocolate bar, break it up into smaller pieces. We want to increase the surface area, and make melting it a little bit easier. Then put the chocolate bar (or 1/2 bag of chips) in the mixing bowl so you can start melting the chocolate down. You can use a double boiler method, or a microwave. If using a microwave, depending on the strength, just “nuke” it in 30 second increments.
Once your chocolate is melted thoroughly and consistently, it is time to mix in your ground up, or blended up, dried shrooms. The chocolate will begin to solidify rather quickly, so you must mix everything together fairly quickly. Then once mixed, pour the mixture in the moulds and place in the fridge. It will take about an hour in the fridge for the chocolate mixture to completely solidify in the fridge. Do not be temped to touch while they are solidifying! We know it is really hard.
