Meeting people in 2019 is no small challenge. Gone are the days of dance parties where the whole town would gather for a drink at the local bar. In today’s world, it’s all about Tinder, Badoo, Bumble, and all those other apps—the brainstorming behind their names must’ve been a wild ride with a funky crew. Yep, the age of social media, the age of the internet!
And there you meet all kinds of people—fun, good-looking, weird, tall, short… you name it! You meet the guy who just wants to hook up (which is totally fine if it works out). You meet the weirdo with a nervous tic that flares up every few minutes. You meet the guy who’d be your best bro. You meet the guy who’s way too tall or the one who’s so stuck in his own head that you text him for a month and he’s too scared to go grab a coffee with you.
And then, you meet HIM—you know, the guy who drives you crazy! Everything’s perfect, everything’s normal. He doesn’t even stink—BINGO! But hey, girl, you’re not going to fall for him like a gazelle in Madagascar. No way! You tie your overalls extra tight and go with the flow.
You’re having fun. Everything’s perfect. He’s wonderful—finally! He does everything in his power to make you fall madly in love with him; even your friends can’t believe how cute it is. And little by little, you open your heart and let him into your life—you know, the one that’s going a hundred miles an hour because you’re a single mom. And this wonderful guy is up for joining you in your crazy adventures, in your day-to-day life—in short, for walking a bit of the journey with you. But like all Walt Disney stories, there’s always a dull part of the movie. The part where things get a little darker…

And you’re left standing there like a little pink filly, wondering why this guy sweet-talked you into leaving your paddock. Is he a predator who wanted to eat the little round, candy-pink filly?
Well, girl, you won’t get any answers, because in life, you’re going to face heartache and disappointment. You’ll also meet some jerks, but you’ll meet some really cool people, too.
