But chaos can also come galloping in. Those moments when you lose control: you’re torn between yelling, laughing, or screaming. You also feel that your anger can sometimes go too far—way too far. You’ve never felt this way before, so much so that you don’t know how to deal with it; it’s impossible to rewind or pause. Well, your child manages to do just that. They even manage to make you forget your pain, to bring you back to what really matters when you couldn’t do it yourself. Being together, loving each other, and just enjoying it—that’s your role. No matter how much they drive you crazy, they can also make you feel like the best parent on earth.
Because no matter what happens, your child will be the best in your eyes. Despite the mischief, there will be wonderful victories. With one or more children, the sky’s the limit—it’s off to Hollywood! They are the future, our future. They’ll have the power to make this world a better place through their acting, which will make us so proud. We’ll be inspired to rise to the occasion, and we’ll always be their most loyal audience.
