We need to talk! Sit down, listen to me, and don't say a word.
Your mom...
It’s a sensitive topic on which we don’t always see eye to eye, but we need to talk about it.
Your mom...
She doesn’t sing lullabies very well and doesn’t even seem to know the words. It drives me crazy!
Your mom...
She thinks peanut butter and banana toast counts as a meal that includes all four food groups. Seriously?
Your mom...
She’s getting older, and it shows! The years go by, I know, but she forgets a lot of things and is often wrong.
Your mom...
She often forgets her routine or changes it. It’s such a simple routine to follow, though.
Your mom...
She always forgets something when we go out. A bottle, her comfort blanket, or even diapers.
Your mom...
She always buys a toy while she’s out running errands. As if we didn’t have enough already.
Your mom...
She’s always late. Is that some kind of illness?
Your mom...
She buys foods full of sugar—fruit juices with no actual fruit, cookies, and cakes. That’s not the right thing to do!
Your mom...
She gets excited over nothing and shouts with joy at every new achievement! When will this stop?
I have to tell you that your mom has changed over the past year. She’s put a lot of things aside to spend more time with the family. Your mom does a lot of things all wrong and not right. Your mom is often wrong. Your mom really isn’t perfect.
You know, sweetie, your mom does the best she can, and she loves you very much.
