Making up people's lives

Yes, yes, you read that right!

I’m not mean for no reason in real life—I’m overweight myself, so I don’t think it’s fair to make fun of people’s differences.

What I really enjoy is making up people’s lives. “What a nutcase!” you’ll say! I don’t care—I’m going to keep doing it!

I love doing this—I’ve always been very imaginative. My coworkers think I’m really weird when I tell them I’ve made up lives for them.

I’ll admit, it’s not a typical hobby, but I find it more exciting than collecting stuff.

I’m coming out by sharing this on my blog, so please show a little respect—thanks.

I don’t do this to everyone I meet—it’s not something I do systematically. My favorite people are often these: those who don’t talk much, those who seem to be judging me, and those who make too much noise.

No discrimination based on age, race, or gender! However, I don’t tell everyone about the lives I’ve created for them—I keep that to myself. Other times, I do talk about it, especially when I’ve gotten it completely wrong, because it makes for a hilarious conversation.

I choose my subjects somewhat at random, but often in places I frequent: work, the grocery store, the pharmacy, daycare, the hospital, and the mall are my favorite spots.

Finally, I want to make it clear that I never make up mean things about people. I never wish anyone harm; I’m simply painting a picture of a person’s personality and life based on how they act.

I imagine I’m not the only one who does this, but I’m probably the only one who dares to talk about it with the people involved!
